Mospeed-tC2 thread
I hate you so much. That VC is hotness painted. The red might have ended up looking a bit to close to the Honda/Acura ones, the black just sits well against the cement.
Hope it holds up, heat-wise. You'll have to let us know how it goes.
...sick. just sick.

This one came out sooooo much better than the one I did on the 05. guess doing it once helps clear mistakes.

Welll trying something since Im bored and other than $25 bux lost if it fails I was curious..... read up on plastidip and desided to give it a try...
First the plasti dip

Then a little color on top, I think the color is very..... me

And from what I read it will either flake and I can peel it off or I just peel it off because it sucks.... LOL

After about 10 min of research on plasti dip, I'm now very curious. All the forums seem to say it's super cheap, durable and easy to do, plus it's easy to peel off if you decide to get rid of it. My only question is what you used to paint it. You just use a normal rattle can on top of the rubber?
P.S. Very glad to have you in a tC2. 1stOne and Wellesley do very cool stuff, but you're doing stuff I didn't even know was possible and it's cheap! Thanks!

Im sure if the orange fail I will just peel and plasti dip them for the flat black look. Just using some rustoleum paint and rustoleum wheel clear coat.
Now I gotta debate about the wheel cap.... on, or off? black or orange? hmmmmm
they are on the car and WOW talk about "out there" definatly stand out with these. not 100% satified but like I said its reversable Imma let it dry overnight and see how they withstand the drive to work. Pics up tomorrow since my springs look like they need to re settle a bit... wheel gap EWWWW
Thanks Mighty

I used outdoor paint from home depot over black plastidip..... I would probably suggest going with a legit wheel paint but still after 12+hrs of drying they still feel a little soft....
I need to touch up the wheels a little with a extra can of paint .... the sides of the spokes didnt get enough paint on them,

I read somewhere you should really let the plasti dip dry for a day or so before painting over them...
In any case, I'm going to do some experimenting on my spare tonight. Not brave enough to go straight to my regular rims!
