IMO it might be better to have it tie into the reverse light cause adding another switch would only take up valuable room for other accessories

Question was more for what he meant exactly then I would go from there as far as developing goes

lol see this is a very confusing thing. Just need specifics and then see if more then one person wants it. or build a one off kit

lets look at this in a business stand point. Papa is going to try to make profit. Sure he could bag together small kits to do these DIY projects, but where is the profit. He would have to get all the items in (paying shipping the whole time), box them together, and then ship them to the consumer. Now I'm not sure how much you are willing to pay for convenience, but most people would rather spend the least amount of money that they have to. This in mind, I would assume that Papa would at least want a probably at least want a profit of 20% because lets keep in mind that selling materials at cost is not making his business money.

I think a video just going over how to remove and get to things would be nice. I know it isn't hard stuff and I just need to explore... but, it'd also be nice and handy to know the best place to pull to get interior panels off without breaking a clip, how to remove/access lights and other bolts, different wires etc..
Just an idea. BTW, love all your videos you've gotten out to date for the '11. Keep them coming! Will probably be purchasing the 2nd reverse light kit shortly!

There are a ton of led distributors right now and they almost give them away so led packages probably wouldnt be best for me.

@Superpickel LEDs wouldn't really be profitable unless I bought them in mass quantities but there are a lot of other things that go in to it to where I would make money however o don't want to make $2 one time. So your on track here with this statement.

@jayjay I need an actual part being changed out for a video because if I just show people how to tear apart the car then my videos would be days long going in to random parts of the car. But if you want to know because your set on some sort of process then let me know exactly what your wanting to do and we can go from there. Also, thank you for the kind words!

hey papa bear, i have a request!

if its possible, could you make a video on how to replace the boots for the hand break and shifter? i actually just wanna see how you open that area. based on how everyone else does it it seems pretty straight forward, but would like to see a video on it if its not too much trouble.

Actually I can just tell you. the boot is held in by the little silver ring around the shifter itself. If you just push the bottom forward you can bend it a bit until it pops out of place. Once it does you can see that the shifter boot just sits under the silver ring. I will need to take a look at the hand brake but I am sure it's not too hard. PM me your number and I will put together a small video for you personally. Or better yet your email address. I'll help you out for sure though

if you're impatient like me, you can check twm's shortshifter install manual which is the same process to get at the boots: http://www.twmperformance.com/manual...ion-manual.pdf

Idea! How about dash removal?

This can be for the whole LED swap in the dash...

or the fog light / blu-logic add-on...

or folks getting plans out for adding gauges... (I'm eyeing that dash spot about 2:00 near the edge of the vent for a shift light)

...things like that?

Follow the John Daly motto, "Grip it and rip it."

Most things in this car are simple plastic rivets and clips that disengage with pulling pressure... So in a way, you could say your car is kind of "easy."

Thats a loooooooooot of extra work...
quick way to do it:
1. remove shift ****
2. grab base of shift boot closest to the front of the car, pull toward the back of the car and downward to unhook it.
3. grab the rear of the boot and push toward the front of the car and down to unhook it
4. pull the base out through the hole
5. pull the boot off the shifter
6. done

for the e-brake do the same thing as the shift boot, but grab from the left side and move toward the right, and then the right to the left.

nice, is anyone making shift boots yet? i am keeping the stock seats but doing dark gray suede inserts so i might change the shift/brake boots to match. that will probably have to be custom made though
