New 2013 Cement
Last week traded my 2010 TC Sizzling Crimson (5-speed) for a 2013 Cement (automatic so my GF and my son can drive it too)..
In my opinion the 2013 rides better, handles better, is a bit quicker, and gets better mileage. At 70 mph the 2010 was turning 3200 RPM, the 2013 turns 2200 RPM at 70 mph.
I like the Bluetooth functionality of the Pioneer Base HU, works great with my Droid X. And the 8 speakers would probably sound much better if I add an amp & a sub in the trunk.
But I must say that I'm disappointed in some of the interior changes- window switches and heater controls feel much cheaper, water temp guage is gone, the outside temp readout has been moved to the odometer, no sub-woofer in trunk, rear cargo cover is now an option.
But overall I'm pleased with the new ride. The Cement color is outstanding, I even got many compliments at the dealership when I picked it up.
Thanks, Ron

Looks great! Tint the window fast will look good with that color! Glad you got the rear spoiler... IMO the car just doesn't look right without it!
I had a 2007 TC before getting the 2012. I agree rides better, handles better, a little better gas mileage and power. Also I like the interior layout better, to me there is more room, seat goes back a bit further and telescoping steering wheel make's it much more comfortable for me at 6' to drive.
The only complaints I have, the brake assist downshifting of the transmission... Annoying at first but you get use to it. I would have rather they went with bigger rotors/brakes for better braking. Also when on the highway with cruise control set when going up a hill with the auto the car will drop down in gears and rev high like you punched the gas, it's a bit annoying, IMO it could be smoother and a more gradual speed increase, but you get use to it as well.
Tint the windows, take out the interior and sound deadening everything (really cuts the road noise at highway speeds), upgrade the stereo, drop in some HID lights and LED's the car becomes much quieter inside, stereo system will sound amazing and the hid's and leds give you a cool look in the mornings and at night... All good. I'm going to do a cold air kit to see if it will give it a better throttle response and possibly a little better highway mpg. Wouldn't mind lowering it and doing a set of wheels but can't justify the cost and want to keep it stock because it rides so nice for commuting to work and back.
Congrats on the new ride!
