Every few days, my left license plate light will go out. In order to turn it back on again, I have to open the hatch and close it with a little bit of force. I bought some new LED license plate lights but the consultant at the auto parts store where I bought them at said it might be an issue with the wiring. I haven't installed the new lights yet, but how do I check the wiring to see if it is loose. I know how to replace the bulbs, but I can't see where the wires go.

I have the same problem with my tc license plate light. Its just the bulb is a bit loose from the road and vibration just open it up make sure its snug dont touch it with your fingers wear a glove i know if we touch the bulb with our fingers we shorten the bulb life
