so what's all the fuss about the light crank pulleys?

little overview please as well as a review of what you experienced with ur previous car.

any downsides at all?

 

No down side as far as I could tell.
My gas mileage went up, acceleration went up, throttle response, etc.
Light weight pulleys are a must have in my opinion.

 

...wish I could do a rear seat delete... If I could, I would take out the back seat completely, make a flase floor for that space... Then I would be cool...

Then I would never get to take my car anywhere. I would have to ride in the xB everywhere with the family...

No. Jealous. I want to take my car everywhere, but I have a 20 month old daughter. My wife hates going places in my car cause we have only one car seat. Not to mention it sucks getting my daughter out of a coupe. So we have to ride in the box everywhere. Not to mention, I drive a company truck everyday for work. So when I get home, sometimes I beg to go to town for anything.

I've had my car for 11 months, and I barely have 6000 miles on it...

I wish my mileage was that low. I am at 3 months with 7k. I love my tC so much, I am thinking of buying a grocery getter to drive to work.....
