The option is located in thread tools at the top right of every thread page. If its there, then you can use it. If not, IDK. I dont have high level access to the sites coding to be able to change anything...

Lol, there is the answer to your question, no you cant close your own threads.
You can get an exact match from the dealership, or you can buy a vinyl to cover the scratch, or have me do some artwork on it ;)
Post a pic of the scratch.

You can not see it but it is on the clear part over the blinker, not the mirror cover. As much as I love your artwork I don't want anything on it that could cover the blinker :p

Alright, I have some of the Meguiar's at home so I will do it later.
Thanks Ted.
I'll be honest. When I read this I had no idea what you were saying. I figured it was a drunk post or something LOL. Then I looked up and now I understand. The scratch is hard to see but I know its there.....
always a possibility but not this time. im sure ted will attest...its not so out of my character
there is a sensor in the seat that tells your car there is someone in or not in your passenger seat this is where the bing comes when they dont have there seat belt on and it also doubles as an air bag sensor so the passenger air bag only comes on when someone is in your seat if you try to unplug the seat ding plug you will get an air bag error light on your dash just an fyi
