Hey guys,

Just have some questions about '11 tC lights. I bought some HIDS that finally came in. Heres my problem: I asked for low-beam and got the ones that are out to the right. These ones are the non-turn signals closest to the outside. They have the mirrored screen that kinda dilutes the HID beams. It was my understanding that the low-beams share a bulb with the high beams? Am I wrong? Please please help!

 

Your low beam and high beams use two seperate bulbs. I believe the low beam is an H11 bulb so it will only fit in your low beam socket (or factory fog lights)

 

the low beam and fog light are both H11 bulbs

 

looking at the picture of the driver side headlight:
left to right...
1st "light" (white) = high beam 9005
2nd "light" (white) = low beam H11
3rd "light" (amber) = turn signals LED (not sure the specific size..theres a thread for that)

 

Mirrored screen? Like a projector?

Echoing what Kid Justin put, from left to right:

 

you don't have a problem.
you got the right bulb.
case closed.

and fyi, projectors are good.
they do not dilute HIDs so i have no idea what you are complaining about.

if you expected to be super bright to blind other people... then you're just...
words i won't say.

but yes, high beams are obviously a separate bulb.
please read your owner's manual. it comes with the car and will answer a vast majority of questions.
