Quieter exhaust
I realize this may go against the general feelings of most on this forum, but what's the best way to get a quieter exhaust on this car? I drive a lot of highway kms and the loud exhaust is becoming a bit tiresome. I love this car, but honestly, after 6000 kms, my biggest issue is the exhaust noise. Any ideas?
Thanks

^^ From what I know of the Borla axle-back for our tC's... from what I've read online regarding them, and from what I've read, backs up your comment.
I'm sure a lot of tC owners here on SL that have an aftermarket exhaust mod on theirs gets a little tired of the droning noise in the interior cabin. And the tC being a hatch-back, probably makes even louder. You could use dyanmat to help deaden the noise; however, the main thing that sucks with that material is that it's generally fairly expensive no matter where you buy it.
Do you have the auto or manual? I have the manual and on the highway in 6th gear, its pretty quiet to me
I am sitting at around 1000miles on mine, and it seems like the exhaust did get a tad louder from when I drove it off the lot, but I'll admit I kinda like it

Is it the drone that is bothering you? The TRD system has a lower level of drone then stock does surprisingly enough. Check with your local dealer to see if they have a model with the exhaust installed and take it for a test drive.
Borla does not make the new TRD exhaust.
Its all the tC1 guys posting in the wrong section.
The only exhausts out right now are the TRD and Descendant Racing for the tC2.
