Default Real Nasty Noise

So when I was driving today I heard a weird noise that immediately caught my attention. I have had no luck in trying to find the source of the noise. It's a nasty rattling/grinding noise between 2-3k rpm while driving in gear. The noise is definitely coming from the driver side somewhere inside. In trying to listen, closest spot I can place an origin in the left heater vent. I can make it make this noise 100% of the time when in gear, it will not do it revving the car in neutral. Just want to see if you guys have any ideas. I recorded a video of me driving just so you can listen to it. You can really hear it towards the end in 6th gear. I already made an appointment for tuesday at Scion, just want to see what you all think.

You may have already done this, but is there anything loose/caught around the wheel? Let us know what Scion says. Thanks

It was raining, they test drove it and said that they couldn't here anything that would cause a problem. All they did was write down that I came in with a concern and to come back once I hear the noise. Funny thing was that night when I got out of work, I was immediately able to make the noise. Its a horrible noise. I'm going to go back hopefully this week if I can get out of work some how.

That sucks...
So, it doesn't make the noise when it's raining?
If so, then the noise might be coming from the exterior.

I once had a weird noise that sounded like was coming from inside of the passenger side b-pillar.
One day, when it was raining, it didn't make that noise.
So, I suspected it's coming from the exterior instead of interior, and I could find where the noise is coming from and fix it.

So I finally got the dealership to really look at my car by getting the service manager to come for a ride with me. Immediately we heard the noise while driving and he apologized for them turning me away before without really looking at it. It turns out, according to the dealership, a couple bolts came loose off the intake and went into the housing. Every time I would hit gas they would move and get thrown around like crazy making the nasty grinding noise. They tightened everything back up and no noise. Sounds as beautiful as the day I got it.

I'm glad they were able to fix it.
And thanks for sharing the info.
