Default Recall?

My mom got a letter saying my car was under recall but threw it away without saying what was being recalled. Does anyone know? I looked around but the only thing I could find was a airbag defect it I'm not sure if that's it

That's just...wow...lol

Anyway, what year is your car? I haven't gotten anything in the mail.

2012. I found out that a lot if toyota where mislabeled in the fact that max tire pressure and cargo weight were too high. So I guess if I go to the dealership they'll just give me a new sticker or something

Could always just go to the dealer and they'll look it up. A recall is a recall. Don't need paperwork if one was issued for your car.

Rpena39, we recommend that you contact 866-707-2466 to research further into the possible recalls your vehicle may be involved in. Please have your VIN ready when you call as recalls are VIN specific.

Could be about the Air conditioner condenser. I don't think they did a full recall but they should!
Had a dealership tell me this as they fixed mine. Debris and spiderwebs can clog a hose under the dash for the air conditioner that causes it to back up into the dash and airbag electronics.
Worth checking if that is the issue. I found out the hard way about this but having water pour out all over the interior! Good Luck!
