Release Series 8
So in Chicago this weekend there was the FR-S first drive event. I went to it with my FR-S and met the Scion Region Director. We were chatting about the car, etc. And I had told him it was my 3rd Scion and that I traded in my TRD Release Series 5.0 for it.
I asked him about a RS for the FRS and he said there was not one coming up yet. However he did tell me about the next RS for the tC. And after they do this one they are taking a break on the Release series. He said a year maybe two of a break and then they would do a big release for all the cars at the same time.
Any who on to the the car.
Its going to be Red like the first tC RS. Not sure if its the same red or different.
It will have the Five Axis kit on it or one for this car only not sure.
The exhaust will come out the middle of the back of the car like Five Axis orange tC from back in the day. This when he told me his face lit up in excitement.
Black wheels, Color Coded Interior.
It will have the TRD parts on the car, Springs, Sway Bar, etc.
He did not tell me when it would be released though I guess I didn't even ask. I didn't ask about price either. But there you go. Sounds cool only time will tell.

Judging by the past.. how hard is it for the dealership to get a RS?
I plan on getting a Black 2013 but will pay extra for the RS. (I just dont like a bunch of mods being done for me already.. I'm a DIY guy like most of us here.
PS: It looks like Scion updated the base price of the 2013 on Scion.com.

It's definitely gotta be the spoiler, I think the car is going to look great, now I kinda wish I waited to get one, got a cement grey that still looks fantastic, but all those upgrades for only 22-23k, a great deal IMHO
