Release Series 8
^The front for the tC2 can be aligned, the rear setup can not. Until an aftermarket camber arm is made for the rear it's stuck as it is. Toyota has no plans it seems to fix this, you'd think they'd have something as long as it's been out.
No the stereo is stock. but it does have a ton of other parts which I am sure when priced separately will be over that 22k.
I want that mid exhaust for my 2012 Cement. Other than that, nothing special. Personally I hate the red, I think the stock colors looked way better. They shoulda done the red they did for the original Axis 5 Project tC (with that widebody kit).

No push button start! No SNS200 audio system! You can’t even get a remote starter any more… No nothing! They just took stuff off…and that’s an improvement? I don’t get it! The cloth interior might be nice…but give me a break. Paddle shifters? But who’s gonna get an auto in a release series? I think I've got a better car...
2tCornot2tC, your ride is one of a kind!!

Just go to the scion.com rstc page for the details. Factory tint you pay for, NO TRD sway bar or struts. Add-ons are the 5-Axis lip kit, rear lip spoiler, center exit exhaust, TRD lowering springs, gloss black OEM 18s, red stitch seats and steering wheel(with RS 8.0 badge). Think that covered it besides the obvious Red color.
Please tell me how you all expect RS series cars to be show ready. no ____ you have a better car because youve modded it yourself. from what ive seen you guys expect the RS series to be so much more. when the fact of the matter is its just a bone stock tC with a couple minor unique things to help get you on your way to a much better tC. so stop slammin it. no SNS2000? put your own HU in it with a nice audio system. no push button start? I'm sure you can manage without that. you can get aftermarket remote start. paddle shifters? Please tell me how absolutely everyone wants a manual car now a days... and for those who get automatics. Guess what they get paddle shifters. why? because for fun that's why. this thing has some nice upgrades. unique Lip kit, nice painted wheels and painted mirrors. an awesome Rear valence with a unique Exhaust system. comes standard with Lowering springs... what do you expect Scion to just ____ing keep adding things on after each RS? think. you expect them to do that? who would want to buy a 40 thousand dollar release series tC that incorporates all RS options from past RS cars? hmmmm? so yeah. quit hatin and accept it... Its the RS 8.0. its nice it has cool stuff it doesn't have everything. Make your car the way you want it or STFU.

It’s not hating it…it’s disappointment! With the RS7.0, you got the pushbutton start…that was something special for the US market…and with the RS7.0 you got a nice grill. The only performance upgrades you got with the RS8.0, was the TRD lowering springs and a TRD exhaust…guess what, anybody can get those directly from Toyota/Scion…the remote starter is also a very nice convenience…in the winter your car is warmed up and in the summer it is cooled off…now it is no longer offered! And I think I’ve read here that people are having trouble (i.e. can’t make it work) with the immobilizer with aftermarket remote starters. Painting the wheels and slapping on some plastic (read that as useless weight) and adding aerodynamic drag to the car is not an improvement to me. You put lipstick on a pig, it is still a pig. I’m not calling the tC a pig, because I’ve got one and like it, I’m just making a comparison. I’m also not saying that you have to throw everything on it to make it an RS8.0 and make it a $40,000 car as you put it. I’m just saying that you don’t get anything special and in fact you can only get less than previous years. How is that progress/improvement?
I don't like the raised look of the Toyota spoiler. Not down with the gap between the spoiler and the trunk. the spoiler one the RS8.0 looks to be sitting flush with the trunk because of that black middle piece.
Also, the RS8.0 spoiler looks a little different. but that just might be me, can't really see from the pics
