Default Scion tC 2G Front Engine Mount

Just a little sneak peak of the very first front engine mount for the 2011 Scion tC.

^Improves shift feel and allows the car to better plant the power by decreasing forward engine movement in FWD vehicles. Depending on the rubber used, the only downfall is engine/cabin vibration.

I have a front polyurethane engine mount on my gen 1 and there is vibration felt through the car when at a stop. When the A/C is on and running it does get worse, now this is when the car is at a stand still. Once the car is rolling it smooths out as if you're on OEM mounts. With this installed the "delay" from when the gas is pushed and the car reacting has reduced, so it is doing it's job, getting the power to the ground. The issue of wheel hop has also been reduced, in the dry the wheels just spin and just adjust the throttle to get the tires to grip. Now in wet conditions I still get wheel hop, shouldn't be trying to launch in this situation but wanted to test it out. I have yet to install the rear motor mount bushing, but whenever I get to that(don't think it'll be anytime soon, it's getting cold outside) I'll report any difference. I also have a B&M short throw shifter installed and getting into the gears have been easier and there's no guessing of the gear and grinding at times is now gone. If one can bear with the vibrations it's definitely a worthwhile mod.

I'll be doing a full review and install video on this on the next couple weeks. Worked with torque solution before and have nothing but great things to say about their products. Quality and fitment always exceeds OEM by far!
