Viper systems are capable of remote starting manual cars. They are actually very simple, you program them to know a specific sequence. For example, you arrive at your destination, pull E-brake up, remove key from ignition and car remains on. Get out, lock car, and car shuts off. Now, the Viper system knows that the car was idling by itself when being locked, thus not in gear, so now it can be started without any issues.
Very possible to have remote start on a manual, but $1000+?

Compustar units all come pre programmed to run manual transmission vehicles, so you have to actually cut the green wire in the brain else it won't start on an auto, only manual
If any shop ever says they can't do it their just BS'in cause a LOT of shops are against it due to the possibilities I posted earlier and a business doesn't want to be blamed for someone improperly remote starting their vehicle, even my shop won't recommend it but of a customer insists we have them sign a waiver
Any starter can be used on manual vehicles, nothin special with viper, with those just run the black white wire from the brain to the clutch output wire, will see that the clutch is engaged upon remote start
