Should I freak out now? Or keep calm?

I apologize if this post is in the wrong thread.
2014 Scion tC
Automatic
57,000 miles
So I was driving home from work one night and the maintence light came on.
I didn't think much of it, assuming that the cycle had come up.
I also noticed that my cruise control wasn't working and the rpm limit was a little higher than usual, as if I was driving on sport mode.
Now this morning, after I dropped my girl off at work.
I was cruising back home and all of a sudden the engine check light came on.
And a few minutes later traction control light came on.
I'm kinda concerned for my baby girl, hope you guys can help with my situation.
-Thanks,
Krispy

Very true and i did just that
Code: P0724
Indicates that the brake switch [B] input electrical circuit signal had high voltage for predetermined period of time.
Unfortunately, the autozone guy had no idea what it meant and said he'd never seen that code before.
Luckily I remembered that I recently replaced my 4th brake light bulb about a week ago.
So I removed the bulb and drove it for about a day and problem solved!
All the lights turned off and car is back to normal, success!
Thanks for the help!
