Sigh.. it appears no matter how many times I explain things, some still doesn't know what they're talking about.
Xtec is a company in Texas. They're a small privately owned shop. They primarily do custom fabrication and audio stuff. They don't have a retail store.
I asked them if I could run an online retail store for their products they were making, they said yes. I made a website for them, and I let everyone know the things that they are selling.
Ofcorse I try out their new product for the TC2. I own a TC2. A company produces a product for a vehicle and one of their employees owns that vehicle. It seems like a no brainer as to who would test it.
People were having problems a long time ago with sales stuff. I have nothing to do with sales. That would be the sales managers at Xtec.
Just so its clear, because apparently I haven't explained it enough for some people..
Xtec obviously has fabricated things for more than one vehicle. I made and run the website so I ask them what they would be willing to constantly produce. I don't know what's in demand for other vehicles nor do I have a desire to deal with that many things.
This is my build thread where I post information about my car and stuff that's going on with my car. Adjustable RUCA's from Xtec are new on my car. If you want to post stuff like you just posted on my thread, please message it to me instead of posting it without knowing what you're talking about.

Just in case you forgot, here's my answer to your same general question 2 days ago..
Glad to see that other companies are finally making some RUCA's for our car! These pics are of the RUCA's that Xtec Auto Accessories sent me. I haven't tried to retrofit any generic control arms, but I assume they would be the same concept (given that the dimensions are the same).
I am simply posting pictures and information on here for you guys to see. What you do with the information is up to you. I am moving on from the TC2 pretty soon, but since these arms are in high demand I figured I'd let everyone know their options. I heard Supertek are currently working on a set as well.

Just keeping everyone informed,
Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms are now available on Xtec's website.

Good question! Whenever you lower a TC2 he wheels naturally camber. (rear wheels camber excessively). Most people's camber like 1.5-2 degrees. Adjustable Rear Control Arms push your hub back out, correcting that camber back to where it should be. Driving around with cambered wheels reduces your handling, breaking ability, and most importantly.. tire life. Also they are more durable than factory, and surprisingly they have seemed to stiffen up the rear of my vehicle. Wither that is a placebo affect or not I don't know, but the rear of my vehicle feels significantly stiffer and more controllable. You might have to wait until someone else tries them and says the same before you take my word on that one though.
The control arms were obviously not "ripped off" from you. There are many differences in the arms. In fact, the only similarities are that they are curved 2 piece control arms that are adjustable by spinning the eyelet into the arm.. just as the mass majority of ARUCA's are. If you examine pictures for a minute you can tell. I applaud you for going out on a limb and trying something new, but not everybody wants to retrofit control arms. In fact, I spoke with someone the other day who tried to retrofit control arms and even when cambered in all the way, the arms were too long and caused massive positive camber. I have answered your trolling question before, and it seems obvious that you are just trolling this page now. You are 23 years old, please show me the same respect that I show you.

no need for that if they are made for our rides. Just my 2 cents.

Scionize - I do not doubt that your retrofitted arms work well on your vehicle. I have said multiple times that I think it's great that you guys went out on a limb and retrofitted control arms from another vehicle to fit the TC2. Awesome job.
However, retrofits aren't for everybody. Some people like to buy an item that will fit their vehicle right off the bat. Personally, I'm more of a retrofit kind of guy, but everyone has their own opinions. Not everybody likes Mcdonalds, that's why there's Burger King and Wendys.
Also, the "spacer" you noted is called a bushing sleeve. They protect rubber bushings from bolts rubbing up against them and wearing too quickly. The stock control arms have them as well. (as pictured)
I don't know how many times I can say this, but I am not trying to argue with you guys or put down your retrofits. I've said it many times. I think it's awesome, and if I didn't have a connection with Xtec then personally I would have retrofit control arms on my vehicle as well.
There has been a ridiculous amount of posts about retrofitted arms on this thread. To the next 10 posts about retrofitted control arms. Read above^
Rsingh- Because racecar
But as I said in my previous post, I got a really.. really.. really.. good deal on 6 gauges that I couldn't turn down, so I might as well use them!

Well, pardon my post OP. no disrespect.
The way i see it, xtec got the idea from noskahate and/or scionize and turned it into a business opportunity.
Buying (not making it themselves) honda specific RUCAs (probably from ebay which is cheaper), little grinding here and there. Spending a little on time and nuts. Then doubling the capital cost selling them to tc2 owners who doesn't want or afraid of retrofitting.
And hell, they did not even bother to paint the part that were grinded down. (As seen on xtec site)
Still IMHO, kudos
to those who started the RUCAs retrofit and sharing the link where we could get them cheaper. Who knows, godspeed might make cheap RUCAs that are tc2 specific. And please scionize and noskahate,do a DIY on this so admins can sticky your major contribution.
Just my 2cents.

Will everyone stop hating on projectTC2 in his build thread it's getting annoying. There was a separate thread created for the ARUCAs if you want to ____ and moan about them do it there. That way I don't have to see it when I want updates on his sicc ride. Especially since he's already stated at least three times he just wants you to know what's available and what you do with the information is up to you. If you want to buy them from xtec do so, if you think they are a "rip off Company" then spend your money else where... Simple enough right? Now on to more important matters LETS SEE UPDATED RIDE PHOTOS?!?
I started the RUCA rerofit, and I debated on selling them, but I didn't, which is fine. I wanted people to benefit from what I shared, and they did, which is fine. "XTEC" took my idea, and is selling them at almost three times the cost to do it yourself, which is fine. The fact that they wont admit it, is not fine. If they are not Ebay brand that you hacked up to make fit, lets see a prototype. Lets see a picture or something of the CAD file you use to CNC these arms. Lets see SOME proof. You are benefitting financially from what I wanted people to know for free, even though I could have kept it secret, I DONT CARE, I just want somebody to admit it. You are right, I am 23, and how old are you?
Anyways people, if you want to see REAL control arms for our cars, I'm posting pics of the HARDRACE PROTOTYPES that they sent me.

Fatty and noskatehate - I am not even going to bother responding to you guys. I have responded multiple times with civil responses, but either you are not reading my responses or you are not comprehending them. Noskatehate, yes, you did the first retrofit on the control arms. Congratulations. I have said awesome job countless times.
My question for you is have you held Xtec's and the ebay control arms in your hands to tell the difference? No, you haven't. You are just judging based off of a few pictures. To inform you, Xtec's are slightly shorter and more curved, making them actually fit correctly. Please stop trolling on my thread.
Toaster and Tagged - Thank you for being civil and not being butthurt about something without any reason. I respect you guys for posting a civil response when other people are freaking out against me.
But sorry to say, as of a few months ago I have stopped posting and commenting on others threads to answer questions that people have, so my information is not of use anymore. There is too much hate against me for no reason, so why I should I help other people out on this website when all they do is ____ and moan about me?
I work for a company that produces parts, I am not the GM. You guys freaking out on my thread for something that I do not control is like crucifying a McDonalds cashier if there are no pickles on your burger.
