Default whats a better cheap mod?

hey guys, i was just wondering what mods is better to start off with as a "cheap"/easy mod. Im thinking either an intake or lowering springs. intake would give me a SMALL amount, close to no boost of performance, and lowering spring is more for looks. Any suggestions??

It's really up to you. Springs would make the car look much better and the intake would make the car sound better. If you want sound get an intake or look at an exhaust. if you want looks get springs.

HIDs
short antenna
red calipers/center brake light
LED replacements

search for a thread called cheap mod under $50 or something like that

thanks bro, the list that u listed, ive done all that except for red caliper. Also when u say the center brake light, is that the 3rd taillight? if so, my 2012 tc already has that?

and yea, springs or intake isnt cheap but just something i want anyways but just questioning myself. haha

yea i like the sound and the looks, thats why i cant decide. as for exhaust, the exhaust itself and having someone install it for me is pretty pricey.. :\ Im not good with car stuff so i wouldnt want to do it myself unless its like swapping leds, etc. which ive already done. haha

If you're looking for springs, me and yuriy both have a set of springs we're selling. H-Tech's or TRD's!

Also, be on the look out for used intakes! People sell their intakes all the time to try out new ones

i would go with lowering springs. although they do help looks, it really chagnes the way to the car handles..in a good way. the intake just gets a cool sound. while springs gives you more bang for the buck,

Jump on those springs man. If you want performance, the NST light weight crank pulley shows seems to be the best bang for under 200 bucks. Check the thread in the engine forum. I am trying like no other to save for one myself. I am not impressed with the majority of the intake and exhaust products for our car. Most just make more noise, a tiny bit of h.p. at 6k rpms and kill the torque in the lower rpms where you drive the most at. CAI's do work, I have had success with many other cars.
A free mod for a more aggressive engine sound, remove the one 10mm bolt holding the snorkel on the side of the stock air box. Then remove the plastic snorkel beside the battery. It makes for a larger intake opening to the air cleaner. Sounds good imo. Mine has been off for quite a while now, no problems. The Descendant intake does sound pretty damn mean, I was impressed when I finally heard one in person. I wish Blk2g would have let me drive her ride for a first hand experience.

Springs with out a doubt makes the car handle like crazy I had Eibach sportlines before I got coilovers and fell in love driving my car threw the twists. I also installed the trd sway bars and now the turns that I'm able to take should be impossible.

I'd vote springs! Gives your car a COMPLETELY new looks and feel. However with good handling comes great tire wear lol. You WILL be temped to take corners faster lol

Haha i like this idea. Just the idea cost a lot of money too. Im actually pretty happy with these 18 wheels and i dont think i will be changing them ANYTIME soon just cause Im paying off my car slowly. But I do wanna get either springs or intake. thanks for your feedback!

Haha I am actually thinking of getting the Eibach Sportline because its perfect IMO. just low enough where i can prolly fit 1 finger through. i think the tein s springs a bit too low in the back where it covers a lil bit of the tire, which i dont like. But i do like how it covers the wheel gap haha. Only concern with getting springs is that i dont know if i will get coils in the future. If i know for sure, i wouldve already went with intake.

i actually like your idea of the free mod part of making it sound more mean. I also heard the descendant intake before and yea it does sound nice but it cant change from CAI to SRI. Im thinking of maybe Injen because of that reason but i never heard of the injen CAI or SRI in the tC2 before. Do you happen to know which sounds more agressive? And would i really notice the different of the lack of torque on CAI? even with the lack of torque from CAI, is the torque still better than stock torque? i know that SRI torque is better haha. i always wondered that.
