I took off the valve cover (red) and the heat shield (black) and had them powder coated.

 

The interior is too much in my opinion

 

I agree. The black pieces aren't meant to be painted.

I have had this issue with my AEM ETI CAI. your situation might have been a fluke, but with this model AEM manufactured a lot of bad ETI chip sets. My issue started with a check engine light and the traction control light going off. I reset them, as nothing seemed to be wrong with the car. Then my car would idle funny and would stall for no reason. After countless phone calls and emails, i was basically told the ETI chip set where the MAF plugs into was bad, and was the culprit. just and FYI if you have other issues. I really hope you don't because it becomes a pain in the ___.

I had that problem. AEM had to send me a new chip. Fixed all the stalling and weird Idleing. Everything works properly now.

 

Hahaha I've had those dice in every car I've owned! I love em!

 

I haven't posted on here in a minute! But new updates for sure are coming soon. I've got my NIA front splitter, strut bar, New custom exhaust, and other things I can't remember off the top of my head. Will post pics when everything is installed!

 

You ever end up installing that NIA splitter? I'm really interested to see how that looks.
