Default Window Problems

So the other day I was rolling my windows down and my friend sitting in the front passenger seat noticed that the window was stuttering on it's way down. After testing it out for a bit we noticed it was even leaving marks on the window itself. Today I had to get an oil change so I brought it up when I took the car in and they checked it out. They told me it was because my windows were tinted and if there was something wrong they wouldn't be able to fix it under warranty because I didn't get my windows tinted with them. Now this isn't happening on the driver's side, which is also tinted and my windows were tinted 3 months ago and this had just started now. I told them I was willing to pull the tint off and see if it was still suttering with it removed and they suddenly tried to convince me to keep the tint on because, "it looked so good." I found it rather fishy and was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue with their windows yet? And if your windows are tinted or not. Thanks.

My driver side window just started doing this exact same thing on the ride into work this morning... and yes I do have tinted windows. I'll post an update when I resolve the issue...

your window runs (rubber that surrounds windows) are just dirty. just clean the window runs with some window cleaner along with the windows and it should be good. make sure you get the ones at the base of the windows too. the windows are catching on them

Remove the door panel and grease said rubber with silicone (spray, oil, grease, just not the caulk).
