Default Your last Scion tC: how much?

I drive a tC '11 bought new, with ~160K miles on it.
I'd love to purchase a tC '16 as replacement, but search around (Hudson Valley+North Jersey) shows dealers demand sticker or offer puny discounts of ~$500 on tC '16.
Buying dead model from dead brand at sticker isn't a good idea.
Last tC's to be built in late July'16.
Toyota will terminate marketing support for Scion brand in Sept'16.

Let's set up tC '16 price watch.
I'd think come Aug-Sept'16, dealers'd offer discounts and allow for price negotiation.

please post here if you learn of new tC '16 off-sticker pricing

- thanks, Victor

Default One price policy

Yes, dealers are beholden to "Scion one price policy", meaning sticker.
well, with Scion gone in Sept'16 and loads of 2016 and 2015 TC"s on them lots, prices should go down.

Default tC'16 prices

tC sales in '16 are down by ~50% from '15; dealers here in Upstate NY have tC'15's sitting on lots, and still demand sticker for those. crazy. will have to wait 'till Toyota terminates marketing support for Scion sometime in Sept-Oct

Just bought a tC from Oklahoma for $16,230, Manual, Blue. Prices seem to be going down and many dealers are trying to clear inventory for next model year. It was a great idea waiting all year to get mine (even with added options I saved over $4000 from the MSRP after taxes). Good time to pick up tCs!

vickat,

Any interest in a 10 series edition tC?

I work in Middletown, NY, and live up past the Hawks Nest by the Delaware river....

-6 speed Manual w/short shift brackets/cable bushing.
-S-Techs
-TB Performance RUCA's
-Front camber bolts
-RX350 HID projector retrofit with 18" switchback led strips, and halos(TRS XSB).
-Weapon-R short ram intake.

It is not beat on, I depend on this car for commuting 37 miles each way to work.

52k miles.

I picked up a 2016 tc Release 10.0 2 weeks ago. It was the end of a day that I had been to many dealerships and very sick of dealing with sales people. After 2 rounds with the salesman on negotiating, and then 1 with the manager...when he said he was going to look at the wiggle room they had. I walked out. Made it to my wife sitting in the car and he chased me down. car sticker was 26K. Got it for 21,025 +ttl (23K OTD). Glad it was the end of the month :-) (bought on the 30th)
