ZeroEyeQueue-Update 7/23/2012 MAF Setup to Speed Density
Yea zero I'm watching and learning a lot from your thread keep up the good work bruh. Eventually I'm going to copy everything (built engine, turbo, lsd, clutch etc.)you've done lmfao. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Trying to finish my suspension and brake upgrades now.
Heh, appreciate it guys. Emulating is the biggest compliment someone can give. After all, I'm just copying what World-Racing has done to their cars. It's been exciting for me to work with a new platform. It will be a couple more months until my car is up and running. I'll make sure to keep the progress updates coming as they happen.
Thanks for checking it out! I'll be watching your threads, as well. There's always something new to learn.
Engine came in on March 20th.

Speed Industry started working on it today.

Should be done by the end of April or so.

New additions include a 44mm Tial Wastegate and a front mount intercooler from Mishimoto (S-Line). Core size is 23" x 12" x 3".

^damn that suck but know how it is when my tranny went out on my last car thats what i had to do but glad to see there is an end to the tunnel
just wondering but how much was the new engine and everything you had done to it
and also do you have any plans on making it rear wheel drive i mean all the money youve put into it you may as well haha

The price for the engine rebuild is about what they charge on World Racing's website, minus the cost of a fully built head.
Big shout out to Kareem, Mike, Rob, Gary and the rest of the team at World Racing, who put the engine together and helped me through all the options that were available. If you're like me and don't have the know-how, they are definitely the people to talk to.
The new wheels will be going on in a couple weeks after the break-in. I'll have pics of everything as they happen.
I'll have to chime in with 1stOne to see where he ordered the 255/40/18 Yokohama Neova AD08's. I can't seem to find them locally.
I'm going to go conservative on it and aim for a power goal rather than a Psi goal. I'm thinking 15Psi would put me over 400whp. On my most recent dyno, I made 367@12Psi and 388@13Psi. So, the 15Psi I feel is realistic.
according to descendants website they are aiming to get 60 psi out of our engine and didnt know since you had them rebuild yours if you were going to try to push around half that i think you could easily hit 500 hp
This car is a DD, not a race car. If I get a new DD someday, then yes, I'll push it to it's limits. For now, I'd just like to have a car to drive. I've never been this long without my own car. 400 whp is good enough for me, at this point.
With the setup I can probably hit 500+ whp without having to get new injectors. Kareem at World Racing said the engine can hold 700+ whp.

Hi ZeroEyeQueue,
Do you think the stock engine can hold 350 horsepower without too much worry? I haven't budgeted for beefing up the internals. Not that I'm opposed to the idea at all, just wondering how urgently I should consider doing that, if I'm content with 350 horsepower. I know you're not an expert, but you have accumulated some conventional wisdom by this point.
Thank you.

How did you decide on what Mishimoto to go with and where did you purchase one from? I found a bunch of products on their website I wouldn't mind getting but haven't been able to locate an online ditributor for most of them.

The shop I go to gets them from a Motovicity distributor in my area.
