ZeroEyeQueue-Update 7/23/2012 MAF Setup to Speed Density
#62
The drive is ok right now. It bogs at idle, but that's expected from the base map that Descendant gave me. I've just been driving it under boost since we've put the kit on and it feels like stock. It won't get a tune until Monday, so I won't be in boost any time soon.
I got a cel a couple times and once coupled with the traction slippage indicator after we stuck the exhaust on. Probably running on the same circuit or a faulty yaw sensor. I'm going to get it checked at the dealer after the tune when they replace the strut bearings.

I love my TRD wheels as well. I'm still keeping the TRD's for non-track summer driving. However, I've always been a fan of bronze/gold with blue or black car (My STi was black with the gold BBS 17"s).

dhj517,
I hear a lot of bad about wheel spacers/adapters. A ton of people say its a no-no, and then there are a good amount of people that haven't had any problems. I have seen videos of a car's wheels come flying off because of them.
A friend of mine uses some on his Tundra and hasn't had any issues in 4 years. Though, its hard to compare a pick-up to our tC's. Are there any hub-centric + wheel-centric adapters/spacers you can suggest from a reputable manufacturer?
I would like the flush look but I'm not sure how much it would affect the suspension and performance.

If you get hub centric ones, or add hub centric rings, your going to be fine. If the ones you get are not hub centric, then yes, you can expect to be on facetube or youbook... what ever its called...
Although, I feel as though getting the correct lug nuts is more important...

Sorry for the late reply. Didn't notice the post for a while. For now, I have some cheap All-Season Falken Ziex ZE-512 245/40 ZR-18's just for daily driving. The tread rating is high, but I always hear bad things about these tires. They were cheap and I didn't want to mount the Hankooks until an open track day.
I have a set of Hankook RS-3 245/40ZR-18XL's that will be mounted come track day in July @ Waterford Hills Raceway.

Oh, yeah! Dealership finally fixed the creaking noise in the front driver's side wheel well. They ordered and replaced pretty much everything but the the strut (was already replaced once). Finally, no more creaking! :D

Thankies! I'll get some sheets up probably Thursday. The place I usually take it to moved to a new location, so they are still setting stuff up. Instead, I'm going to a place that has a Mustang dyno called Speed Industry. Hopefully, the tune will be decent.

Having the shop do some more work on the car. Clutch is going in, they're machining the flywheel and tuning. I'll probably have my car back on Friday (/crosses fingers). I'll post some dyno sheets and pics of the car and maybe some video if I can borrow a friend's mounting kit. So geeked.

Still have them. I'm becoming a wheel ***** like 1st. No offense 1st, just emulating . I'm kind of regretting getting the 18 x 8.5" wheels. Everyone seems to be going wider. I guess I was just worried about rub at lock or something stupid like my suspension problems I've been having getting in the way. As far as I can tell, 18 x 9.5" seems like the best way to go. I may just end up getting some hub centric spacers from Ichiba when they come out with them for the tC2. But, I think they have some that will fit it.
As follows, I think:
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 114.3
Center Bore: 60.1
Thread: 12 x 1.5
Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
Most likely going to take dhj's advice and doing 20mm in the back and 15mm in the front. I still have to measure to make sure.

As far as I can tell. I drove on some 18 x 9 's and there was no rub and some clearance. 1stOne and the PTuning tC2 are both running the 18 x 9.5 's and I'm sure both have been to the track. From the video 1st posted and the post from the guys @PTuning, it seems like there are no fitment issues and enough clearance.

I need to look up some reviews on their v2's.

Bleh...
Problems getting to the clutch. Apparently, they have to take off the entire sub frame. This is taking longer than expected.
