2013 tC Front Sway Bar Install / Removal
Hello, I'm new to the forum. Recently I purchased a 2013 Scion tC for my daughter. I have plenty of experience wrenching, but mainly on Subarus and Hondas.
The car came with a full set of lowering springs and sway bars. Since she is a new driver I am putting the car back to stock.
The strut bar was the first to go and it was a PITA to remove since u have to remove the wipers, plastic cover, wiper motor, etc.
The next was the springs, after buying the OEM bump stops, I replaced the springs. At the same time I thought about replacing the front sway bar. I started removing the bar and noticed that it would not come out.
After doing research, I found that a lot of stuff needs to come off.
Is there an easier way to remove the front sway without having to drop half the engine brace?

Both the tC2 (2011-2013) and the tC2.5 (2014-2016) come with Front and Rear Sway Bars as Standard OEM Equipment. It is Not Recommended that you remove them.
Unless, You Want to drop the sub-frame for the Front Sway bar.
The Choice is Yours.

personally, I would leave the Strut Bar, Lowering Springs, Sway Bars alone.
