Has anyone had alignment issues once aftermarket lowering springs were installed? Im about to purchase mine and a guy i work with that lowered his subbie (i know a completely different car) said he had to get his alignment adjusted at least once a month..Any input is appreciated!

 

once a month? He has something seriously wrong with his car if he needs an alignment once a month.

Just make sure you let your springs settle for a week or 2 before you get an alignment and you should be fine for a long time..maybe get it checked once a year if your paranoid.

I would get it done at a place that does some kind of lifetime alignment deal as well.

 

The more you drop your car, the further off the rear camber will be, but that has been discussed in detail in other threads.

And unless you are doing something more than just normal driving, you should only need an alignment every couple years. I have to get my alignment done every 3-4 months, but I race.

 

yeah I can see every 3-4 months for racing too because of the stress you are putting on those components..but once a month is way to excessive.

 

Lowered my tC in 2005 not problems until mid last year. One of my wheels is way off, and Toyota said they dont know why or how to fix it. No more thread on the camber bolt. So now im stuck driving around with one cambered front wheel.

 

Thanks for the advice! ill make sure to get it all checked out after i install the springs.
