Brake help

Unhappy Brake help

dont know if this is the right category but i need help, i was painting brakes on my 2012 scion tc and screwed up, what are the torque specs for the bracket and caliper, and i lost the little rubber washer around 1 caliper slide pin what does it do, i also mixed up which pin with the little rubber gasket goes, is it the top or bottom slide pin, one caliper bolt flew off i need to get a replacement and tighten..

42 ft. lb. for both. If you are referring to the rubber o-rings on the ends of the slides, it is there to absorb vibrations (which make noise). Both slides should have the rubber insulators on the ends, as well as the rubber dust boots.

Wait really only my bottom ones had the rubber gasket at the end of the slide, where would I get replacements, and 42 for both the caliper and bracket?

Just checked and yes, just the lower bolts have the rubber insulators. I apologize for giving out the wrong info man. I can't find a torque spec for the caliper slide bolts, just the brackets. Slide bolts don't need to be extremely tight, somewhere in the 25-30 ft. lb. range would be just fine.
