Default Brake replacement.

I have 70,000 miles, my front brakes are at 3 1/2mm and rear is 6mm.
Best place to buy OEM rotors and Brake pads? My dealership wants an arm and a leg for them. >.>

Also, if not OEM pads, open to suggestions. OEM lasted 70k though.. Hard to beat that in my opinion, never heard noise, still brakes perfectly fine. I am looking to change my brakes out in the next month or two.

Do you guys think these are OEM replacement parts?
Amazon.com: 2011 - 2013 SCION tC Front and Rear Brake Pads and Brake Rotors OEM Replacement Direct Fit Brake Kit: Automotive Amazon.com: 2011 - 2013 SCION tC Front and Rear Brake Pads and Brake Rotors OEM Replacement Direct Fit Brake Kit: Automotive

I emailed them asking for part numbers of the items in the kit.

For a DD, the oem pads are good enough. For others who want to try a different brand, I recommend Hawk and EBC.

Front pads are 6mm rear are 6mm.

Damn place who rotated/gave alighnment said "you brakes are 3mm in the front" should replace them, etc. It didnt occur to me that they were trying to get a sale. I took their word on it.
Anyway 72k miles and I still have 6mm of front brake left. I guess I will be keeping these 4 pads for future. That _______. (I do 90% highway driving)

I would also recommend StopTech for brake upgrade. They offer superior quality and exceed OE performance.

I ordered all new rotors and pads from trdsparks, parts all ran me like 350 shipped, then i paid local mechanic 90 bucks to swap them all out. Brakes still had life on them, but brake fluid was getting used slightly. I replaced them at 85k miles, so assume next set will get same.

I went with oem because i had 85k trouble free miles, and 20k of that was pulling a motorcycle on a trailer, just peace of mind. oh dealership wanted like 800 dollars for new pads, and to resurface my rotors, effing insane.

i replaced them at 85k and im already at 119k lol.
