Question Brakes?

I was just noticing this more and more and more but when driving my 2012 tC that ive only had for about 6 weeks now is that the travel when pressing the brake pedal is very long, not as long as i think it should be in a car like this and then i press it and nothing happens and press it more nothing and then finally itll start braking slightly and then ill need to press it really hard and far to get it to start braking, what should i do? is this normal? it just seems like it has a lot more travel than i thought it should have, just very curious, idk if i should have the dealer check it out

A couple of notes.....

1) you most likely got some air in your brake lines.....it happens to everybody at some point. It shouldn't, but it does. Definitely take it to the shop and have them bleed the lines....if it was me I would have them replace the fluid, preferably with a higher performance fluid like what I use:

http://www.dezod.com/cat-brake-fluid.cfm

2) The TC's brakes definitely suck to begin with, I spent a little over $100 for some stainless steel brake lines and it made an absolute world of difference in the initial bite and pedal firmness....a.k.a. no more "sponge" feeling

At the very least you def want to get this issue checked out, it can be quite dangerous if something is going out on you
