Default Dealer installed TRD springs w/no cost alignment?!?

Is this correct...? So with those who had the dealer install the TRD, did you have the alignment done at no cost?

I can't remember who here said that Toyota/Scion/TRD included the alignment with the installation price, this way it won't be out of specs?!?! Is this true and in writing with Toyota/Scion? Can someone please show us where? Or do we have to call Toyota or Scion??

Had my 20k mile service today and the dealer did an alignment for free. Said you get one free under warranty within the first 12 months or 20K miles. Perhaps that's what folks are talking about...

Thanks MP!! this is the info I needed. Did you have an aligment done after the drop? Or did you wait until now? Also the free aligment is in writing from Scion? And can we request one done from the dealer or does something have to be wrong with the aligment/suspension? Sorry for all the questions, but I wanted more info before I call the Service Manager at the dealer.

You definitely want an alignment done after installing the springs. I didn't know about the 1 freebie, so I went someplace else. When I went in to get my 20K mile service, the rep came out and told me my alignment was out, but that they'd fix it free of charge if I wanted. I don't know if it's in writing since they just offered, but if you tell them your alignment feels off (car is pulling), they'll check it for you.
