If u click on the link you'll see that they are discounted on the website. I think distributors arent allowed advertise lower prices than msrp depending on the company

Scion202 is correct - Megan Racing and a lot of other companies uphold a MAP (minimum advertise price) that all of their dealers/distributors can't post prices below that. We adhere to this policy, so the lowest price we can post on the internet is $880 in this case. MSRP is still $999.

I really can't tell fron the photos, but it looks like the rear springs are installed in the stock position and therefore not a real coilover. If so, then how is the rear ride height adjusted?

Looks like they are but have that piece with the locking collar connected to it and the spring sits on that so you just spin it up or down to raise or lower.. My cobalts coilovers were like that.

Basically they're like this http://youtu.be/-1e85NOrZks but supposedly we cant adjust ours like this because they sit in a cup.

You are right - the springs are separate from the shock, as are all coilovers for a rear separate spring designed car. The pictures above are the real Megan Racing coilovers that are for the tC2 (it is not a generic stock picture).

CementTC is correct - you spin the locking collar piece for the rear setup to adjust the height.

Then could you double check the spring rates...I think there is an error. If the rear spring goes into the OEM position, then the spring rate should be about twice that of the front for optimum handling.

They are the correct rates - I verified with Megan Racing.

Also, the coilovers were tested off the OEM suspension. They upped the spring rate compared to the OEM springs and used the weight of the car to come up with their spring rates.
