Default New Shocks with Eibach Lowing Springs?

Hey guys,
I just got my 2011 scion Tc and I absolutely love it, I am looking to lower the car a little bit, Just to get rid of the awful wheel gap. I was thinking of getting the Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs and drop the car about an inch. I know its not required to change the shocks but I want to change them anyways, Just for peace of mind and preventive maintenance. So my question is do I have to get a different length of shock for my car since it will be dropped an inch or can I just get some aftermarket ones that are the same as the OEM ones? I'm completely new to car mods so any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello bmcallister! Welcome to SL!

It's OK to keep the OEM shocks or aftermarket equivalent.

I have TRD Lowering springs that drop my 2015 RS9 about 1" inch.
