Screeching noise
I have 17xxx miles on my '11 TC and I often hear a screeching noise, as if metal were rubbing, when I get my car rolling from a stop. It seems like it's coming from the front left wheel, but I haven't really inspected it. I noticed that the sound is more apparent during cold days and I never realized this problem until after my 15k inspection at the dealership. Any ideas what it can be?
Could be anything, including something slightly bent or stuck in near the rotor. If it's worse when it's cold, could be because things contract when they're cold and when the brakes heat up, it separates enough. I about crapped my pants one day when I got a terribly metal screeching sound from one of my rear brakes. Two minute inspection at the nearest parking lot and I found a pebble got stuck up between the brake shield and rotor.
Anyway, like ProjectTC2 said, let the dealer fix it.

I had the exact same issue on my '11 tC. I noticed it around 15k and it was in the summer time with the stock wheels and tires. I had the dealer test it out and they found nothing, nor did they hear the screeching noise. It gradually went away as the temperature cooled down and now that I have on my steel winter wheels I don't hear it at all any more, tho it could be the road noise of the tires are downing out the screeching sound.
