Suspension Recommendations
What does everyone recommend when it comes to lowering my suspension? I want to lower it about 1.5" - 2". I was considering Eibach springs, but was concerned on whether the height was low enough, and also was unhappy with the fact I cannot change the height like I can with coils. I was also considering Raceland coilovers. I have heard both good reviews and bad reviews for them, many saying they are too good to be true and are built cheap and are rather stiff but I have also heard that they have great handling etc. If Racelands aren't the way to go, what affordable yet reliable coilovers are available? I was considering Tein Street Basis Z coils. If anyone could help out that'd be great as I want to get this figured out soon.
To be brief and to the point, Raceland is junk, It's just not worth it. If your car is a daily driver, then coilovers are overrated and not the best plan of action. They are ok if you are looking for a more track oriented setup. If your desire is for the street, the best thing you can do is a good spring and shock combo. I'm not super familiar with what's available for a tC2, but generally, Tokico makes a solid offering in the sport shock department. That with Eibach springs would make a nice setup. Pro Kit springs for handling and comfort, Sportline for the lower look. If you had to go with a cheap coil, I would consider Tein Street Basis. The fact that they use OEM top mounts mean they will be much more forgiving on a daily driver regarding noise and harshness.
Hope this was helpful.

FWIW Tokico doesn't make any performance shocks (blues) for this car (I've already contacted them about it), which is annoying because they make the stock shocks. Nobody makes shocks for this car except KYB Excel G's which are about 10-15% stiffer than stock and a bit safer for a moderate drop. I'd run the stockers if you have relatively low miles and see how they hold up with a drop. It's very easy to swap shocks.
For springs though, I wholeheartedly recommend the Tein S-Techs over the Eibachs for this car. I've had both - too many issues with the Eibachs I ended up getting them RMA'd. The S-Techs are in a class of their own for this car when it comes to springs. They ride smoother and the handling is better with them.
Oh, and Raceland is absolute crap.
