I'd wait to see if hotchkis makes a set of swaybars and springs.

^x2 I went to their website and didn't find them. Maybe he's confused for the strut bar instead of sway bars.

Tanabe makes a strut bar. No sways released. Eibach is coming out with sways soon.

Default TRD sway bars

So I went to TRDSparks.com and bought the set of sway bars for my 2012 tC2. Unfortunately I relieved only one bar and from the sounds of it its the "adjustable" front bar. A problem I have to solve with TRDSparks.

My question is, can I install in my driveway? Using jack and stands...
Or should I use a hoist, that I might have to pay for?
I know the "driveway" method is cheaper, and the hoist is safer and probable easier and cheaper...

Has anyone installed them? and how was it? That's my question?

Help..........

Obviously a hoist is the preferred method. But a jack and stands in your driveway will more than suffice. Sway bar install isn't very tough.

If you only received the front, don't bother putting it on yet. Wait until you receive the rear. Installing just the front will make you plow through turns like it's...well...I couldn't think of a clever analogy quick enough, but you get the idea. It'll understeer like crazy.

You have the front STRUT bar...not sway bar. Strut bar connects the two front strut towers and crosses the top of the engine. SWAY bars are underneath the car in the front and rear.

Sway bars are the real money makers. Night and day difference. Strut bars provide very mild improvement and look cool.
