I am looking into trading up my stock wheels to the 19' TRD rims. I found a great deal on some, but I was exploring the option to sell my stock wheels to make up for the cost. Only issue is trying to find the best place to sell it and getting the best price.

Has anyone here sold their stock rims? If so, how much did you sell them for?

 

If you're in an area with 4 seasons, I would take the hit to the wallet and keep the stock rims with a good set of snow tires for the winter. Otherwise you could try printing out some fliers and post them around town. Most dinners will allow you to hang stuff on a board. Ask your local tire shop if they know anyone that's interested. This site also has regional sections you might want to post up in. Then there is always Craigslist and eBay. I would personally ask $400-450 OBO tires included. Obviously though you should sell for whatever you're comfortable letting go of them for.

ive sold mine on craigslist for $400 wheels only! but there was alot of people wanting to pay 250, 300, 350. but i wasnt in a rush to let them go. and i wouldnt take any less than $400. im assuming your selling your tires with them too since your switching to 19s? in that case. depending on how many miles are on them i would take about $650. i think those tires alone are like $600 brand new for all 4.

I have a question about the stock wheels too. what is the widest tire i can get on there? the 225s seem they can go wider maybe up to 245s?
