Default Varrstoen Wheels!

Hi guys, so let me start by saying I own authentic Te37 wheels for my Honda S2000, but I recently bought some Varrstoen Te37 reps for my wife's Scion Tc. Should I put them on or no. They look really good, but I don't know much about the company or how well these wheels hold up to daily driving. I'm a bit nervous to be honest with ya'll especially now that she is pregnant.

I just need to know if these wheels are safe. Don't know much about them or the Varrstoen company. I know they will look good on the car.

any reps are bad.

varrostoens included.

i guess if your wife doesn't really care about authenticity or quality or isn't interesting in racing...then maybe it will be okay, especially if you're worried she'd scrape up real (more expensive) wheels. keep in mind if she's prone to really smacking the curbs, these obviously have a much higher failure rate than the real thing.

(pictures were not needed for this advice)

They look great though. I've never had a problem with various reps I have had.

Well I put them on today. They look a little chrome in the pictures, but its more of a high gloss gunmetal. I'd like to lower it about an inch, no more as its a DD car. What do you guys suggest?

Go with TRD springs or Tein H-Techs for a mild drop.

And as for the quality of Varrstoens, I know several people use the as daily with 0 issues. Of course if you smack a curb or a serious pot hole, they could get damaged, but with most rims, that could happen. As long as you aren't pimpin' em as the real thing, most people will leave you alone.

How low will the H-Tech drop it? I've been told the TRD springs are uneven (lower in the back) i'm sure it serves a purpose, but I don't like that look.

I wouldn't dare try and pass these wheels as Authentic TE37's! I only got them for my wife because she likes the rims on my S2K and those are real TE37's, but I wasn't about to drop 4K on wheels for her DD car.

Eibach pro springs are an even 1" drop all the way around iirc.

Of course you could probably find the cheaper elsewhere.
