@john deo, for slight reference to see what 17s look like on the tC2, check out fredric aasbo's formula-d tC2, it runs 17's i believe
Yea if that's the case then i wouldn't be using a Scion TC2. You want performance then get a real car you can mod, not a brand new gen econobox that has limited aftermarket options.

Got a problem. The nut on the front wheels stick too far out n the center caps dont snap in. I lost 1 center cap already .. Neone know of a fix for this? I dont really mind which cap is on there as long as it covers the screw thing because its getting rusted

I had to make my own center caps for just that same reason...

I bought a set of TRD center caps and cut off all the “legs” off of the back side. Then I sanded it smooth – down to 400 grit.

I took off the Aluminum cover off of the F-Sport center cap (original), drilled a 1.75” hole through the center and sanded the outside face, again down to 400 grit to get a nice smooth finish.

This is what it looks like from the back…

This is what it looks like from the front…

Here is the final result…

Any idea on how to do this for the center cap I have?

While doing the brakes on my car, I friŠked up the right axle threads. I tried to un-stake the axle nut as per Toyota instructions and had a tough time undoing the nut. $500 later, I got new right axle…there is no need for such a long bolt hanging out. Per standard practices, all that is suggested is to have two threads past the nut. I’d get an 8” grinder with a cutoff blade and cut off the axle. That nut only holds the axle to the hub. The hub is held onto the suspension upright by the 4 bearing housing bolts on the wheel bearing. Those 4 wheel bearing housing bolts hold your wheel to the car. And, any threads beyond the nut is just added weight…but leave two threads per standard engineering practices.

The way I would do it, I would buy 2 each 7/8” washers and slide them over the axle to the nut. This will provide the natural stop for you…grind away.
