Yet another tire/wheel fitment thread......
So I found a set of wheels that will fit my tC2.5 thanks to the wonderful sticky about fitments and whatnot, but I have a problem that I can't seem to find the answer to.
Now I want to use my stock tires, because they are less than 1000 miles old. They're not the STOCK tires that come with the car but the previous owner replaced them right before selling the car so they are brand new.
The wheels I have picked out are 18x9.5 and the stock tire is 225/45. I've heared a lot of mixed reviews about that stretch. Some people say it's too much and it's dangerous and others say that it'll work well for a DD but I'm still not sure. I'd like to buy the wheels right now and use stock tires for a few months and then buy bigger tires(245) if I have to, but would it be better to wait and buy it all together?
I'm not a crazy driver or anything, but I also don't drive oh-so-calmly.
Any help is appreciated.
