there is a notch on one side. You need something flat (like a screw driver) and soft. Withou scratching you paint you just pop the light out and you are all set. There is no need to go to the dealer and wait 3 hours for something you can do in less than a minute.

 

wrong info. you can take out the turn signal lenses like that, but the side marker lenses (the ones on the front fender) are bolted on. you have to pop out the plastic wheelwell and un-bolt them to remove them. also, se sure to turn your wheel all the way in to make extra room. i learned that the hard way !!!

no problem. the side markers on my vw jetta just popped out also. for some reason scion made these buggers difficult !!!! didn't mean any offense, just didnt want someone to start diggin into there car tryin to just pop them out.
