Default 3M Clear bra

:D Just a bit of info, a shop in Anaheim called xcellent tint does the 3m clear bra for $475 installed.
Not sure of the quality of the work for the clear bra, but they have done the tinting on a couple of my cars, and they are very professional, and high quality.
Will be getting it installed next week, and will let you guy's know.

If anyone is interested their # is 714-630-6227

I havent seen the half bra, but the entire reason I wanted to go with the clear bra
instead of a traditional one is I do alot of freeway driving. I didnt want the rubbing effect on the paint, and in the long run it will protect the paint so much better.

As far as the yellowing it is guaranteed for 5 years I believe.

hey yanges. ive got polar and a half bra. man is it snug on there. someone would really have to destroy the bra to get ot off. it looks okay i guess. certainly not bad i like the proper font "xB" on the front drivers side of the bra. like many other accesories it would go better on the darker colors. i guess bras aren't my thing i actually bought it for actual protection since the car (esp the windshield) got HAMMERED last time we went down to california. i figured for 45 from steve at carsonscion i couldn't go wrong if it prevented any high speed damage. but for around town i'll take it off.

I had one of these on my 1999 Nissan Sentra SE. It worked pretty well but people kept asking me if I used to have a bra on the car because they could see the difference in gloss and thought it had faded because of a conventional bra. I wouldn't get one again –too pricey.

yeah well i beg to differ, if you saw the front of my car youd agree since only two of the serious rock chips i have are below the area that the half bra protects. If i had the 'basically useless' accessory i wouldn't have mulitiple rock chips on the leading edge of the hood and i wouldn't have had to replace the windshield at 3000 miles. Anyways a full bra would look riddiculous. for 45 bucks i got cheap insurance. on my recent cali trips ive gotten no rock chips thanks in part to the half bra.

The clear bra works. I have it on my Camry and plan to put n my new xB. Because of the flat face on the xB I think it's a must.

Star Shield Armor did my whole front end right before SEMA. Trust me when I say it saved my paint on the way to Vegas. Drove the whole way there and back and not a single chip in the paint. When I got my kit painted the first time, I had 3 chips in the first day! Not anymore... Very well worth the investment! I recomend this for anyone that doesn't want to repaint their car due to chips.

...and no, it won't turn a dingy yellow.

Default 3M Clearguard

I had the 3M Clearguard kit installed ($400) on my xB. It is a must have, worth every penny! Judging from the bugs I 've collected on the front end, windshield and mirrors this summer, I'm certain it has already saved my paint job and will keep the finish on my xB looking show-room new. And it's easier to remove the bugs!

We at JINSU is offering discount on entire scion line of cleargard kti. Our kit is easier to install because of it's stretchbility and won't show scratch as easy because there is not clearcoat to scratch up.

Last week I had the Venture paint protection installed on my Xb. This film supposedly has a higher gloss than the 3M film. There's pros and cons of all the films (3M, Avery, Venture, Llumar, etc.). Looks great...meaning I can't even see it on my TCM and I no longer have to worry about chips. :D
