i thought that they were wired from the factory to only come on when either the parking or headlights are on. i mean to keep them from coming on when all the lights are turned off.

ok, i took a look at the wiring dig. at work a few days ago and it was a no problem. just clip one wire and ground it. this is what i did: took you switch out and cut the wire on trem. 1. thats the red wire w/blue tracer. took that wire and put it to ground. there is a nice place for this on near the fuse box. with that done my foglights work w/ my parking lights and when i turn on my highbeams. there is one drawback to this, if i dont turn off the foglights when i get out the car thay stay on. ill post pics in a day or so.

They work well for seeing the lines on the road during wet rainy weather as well as fog. Just strange how it lights up the area in front of the bumper unless I need to adjust them, but they do what I want. See the edge of road and lines during rain/fog.

Now if I can just fine some amber bulbs for an h11 size.

Pretty easy. Take a look, they're pdf files so it'll take a min for them to load...
