ok...maybe i'm blind, but i can't find the last topic i posted on this.

i just got my front mount in the mail from eight08 customs and can't for the life of me figure out how to install it.

any help is appreciated. thanks

 

You need to remove the splash guard underneath the front bumper so you can reach up inside the back.

Remove the rearmost nuts and washers, and insert the 2 posts through your lower grille. Put the washers back on, and then thread the nuts back on. Adjust the frontmost bolts to adjust the plate's distance from the grille surface.

how do i go about removing the splash guard?

There's 2 screws holding the splashguard to the bottom of the front bumper. Unscrew these, and you should be able to fit your hand up behind the fascia.

You can use either a phillips head screwdriver, or I'd say a 9-10mm socket.
