Be very careful when take those caps out. I found that out the hard way, and ripped the insulation. It cost me around $100 to get a new insulation and those caps from the dealership.

What company did you order the CF Hood from?

It is a Motor FX CF hood and i also didn't realize that it didn't come with the holes pre-drilled. So i also have to deal with that. Its becoming alot bigger project than i thought it would be.

You do not need to put that ugly thing on your hood. I also do not suggest drilling into it for it could damage it like WOAH! I do not use it, even if my hood wasnt double sided I still would not use it.

no way! that is the last thing you want to do. You will cause spiderwebbing and destroy the hood. you do not need the washer fluid sprayers, if you are addicted to them rerout them to the plastic between the hood and the wipers instead.
I gotta say if you were dead set on keeping them you shoulda asked them if they were shaved or avail to stil use. I can not warn you enough on the regrets and possible ruining of your hood if you decide to drill into.

I have been thinking abotu getting the motor fx carbon hood for my xa as well. So if the insulation from the stock hood isn't pput on the motor -fx one, what is the worst that can happen? And will anything happen without the insulation on the new hood?
