SCP is just like carsponsorships.com, just another way to screw people out of their money.

you may think that you are actually accomplishing something but you are not...... i have seen many people go down the SCP road and none come back with anything to show for.... please dont get others involved with this....
i still have my SCP packet in the bottom of my drawer and do not plan on giving them any money..... look at the cheap a$$ brands that they will hook you up with, then compare their prices with ebay's prices then maybe you will understand a little better...
if you get anyone involved they are going to hate you and you will not even want to come back to scionlife because of the reputation that it will earn you.
i hope you take my advice.... i did as much as i can do to stop it.

Not even worth the postage to mail back thier 89 dollar contract. You have to buy their crap from thier websites at "Wholesale" prices that equate to about nothing on savings. Don't be the next sucker.

I have already saved more money with scp than my application fee and If their parts aren't listed they will still help with labor and even with new companies. Its only for 12 months though, so you got to be ready to go. I have already spoke with allot of different companies and most of them will help on shipping and cut costs if you find the same items cheaper somewhere else. SO don't knock it until you have actually tried it. The more people you get involved and help scout, the better they will treat you. Everyone has an opinion though!

Maybe you should throw candle parties or sell Amway products instead...

If you know of some better sponsors let me know. Me and four of my friends in central IL are going to stick with SCP for 12 months and see how it goes. Some people have to learn from mistakes, but so far it has not been a mistake for me. I respect your opinions though, because I don't want to see anyone get screwed!

Why pay someone to sponsor you? Don't quite make good sense. You earn sponsors by going to car shows, winning, putting together a resume, approaching a company like you've got some sense, explaining how the exposure you can provide will help their sales, and then following through. These wanna-be sponsorship scams are for the birds. Sponsorships are a 2-way street and if you have nothing to offer, you will get just about that much in return. The best sponsors will find you if you have something to offer. You will get burned by these guys though.......

you never PAY just to get the ability to say "i have a sponsor" - that part's free. You may not get a full sponsorship and still have to buy stuff at true COST... but there is no way in hell a legit sponsor will charge you $89 just to get you started. What a joke.
