Maybe you should throw candle parties or sell Amway products instead...
AMWAY IS NOT A PYRAMID SCAM!

Its multi level marketing

Where do I sign up to buy that bridge?

Well now that everyone has it out of there system let me ask how did you get screwed by SCP? I would really like to hear what has happened to people and why they are so turned off by the company. I don't want to get screwed either!!!! Please post in detail and please be mature about this.

Why did this company pick you to find 2 people from each state? The best thing for you to do is send them your money and then when you get this so called sponsorship then you can laugh at us. No one said this company is a rip-off, listen to what scott17 said, thats the way to get real sponsors! Good luck though!

I'm sure many of us have already heard of carsponserships.com and their worthlessness. So I decided to try out Sport Compact Pro. A person I had spoke to recommended them to me. He said he had 2 cars sponsored through them and that they had namebrand manufacturers that you could get parts from as opposed to carsponsorships.com's no name manufacturers. So I decided to give them a try.

Now I'm not saying that they can't get you many of the parts you're looking for, but to be wary of them claiming that they will reimburse you for half of any purchases you make on your own.

They sent me the contract and a sheet full of their manufacurers that they could get parts from; HKS, GReddy, Injen, etc....... Now keep in mind that in the contract that I recieved it was for $12,000 with them paying up to 55% off of whatever parts you get through them. After you sign the concract and return it, they will send you instructions on how to order parts and a very small list of websites to find parts through. How it works or is supposed to is that YOU have to pay for the part up front and then they are supposed to reimburse you with money from whatever amount you're sponsered for. Such as mine which was 12,000. So I read through their contract and it stated that if they cannot find a product for your car that you must allow them the opportunity to find what you are looking for before you buy it on your own. Now it doesn't say that they will apply the same discount for anything you buy on your own in the contract, but I decided to call them and see for sure how that works.

So I called and asked about ordering parts that weren't on the websites they gave me, and the guy I talked to told me that the same 55% discount would apply to parts that I found on my own. He told me to just find the parts I want and after I buy them, to call in with my receipts. So I then proceded to buy the zpi stage 0 kit expecting them to reimburse me for half the amount. So I called them up and the guy(different guy) I talked to told me that they can't reimburse me for something I bought on my own. He tried to tell me that they can't do that because they don't want to risk being held responsible for people buying products that might mess up their cars.

The freakin contract already states that you the sponsored are soley responsible for fixing your car if any thing happens to it as a result of any aftermarket parts, so how are they responsible? All I know is that I bought this damn kit expecting them to help me out with the cost . but now I guess I just gotta install it my self cause they never reimbursed me for part of the cost Now, I figure I might as well not even use them to get me any parts for my car and just break my contract with them.(You only lose the $88 you paid for the contract if you do) Oh yeah I asked them about ZPI kits and told me that they spoke to ZPI about getting them to become one of their manufacturers, but they said ZPI wanted a group buy of like 10 people to get any kind of a discount on their kits and they only had 3 scions that wanted zpi kits. Just thought I'd share my experience with you guys.
BTW Turbonetics is one of their manufacturers, so maybe they would be able to get you one of their kits cheaper.

There you go, that is how I got screwed by them and that is why i don't like them. Sorry for the long post.

I'm not embarassed, I'm upset that I bought into it. But if me telling of my experience will help to keep anyone else here on scionlife from making the same mistake, I'll gladly "emarass" myself.

BTDT (Been there done that)

I WAS sponsored by SCP. I ended up making them refund my $89 because their "wholesale" prices were too close to retail prices. For example I wanted a front bumper for my car. From them the bumper costs $260 (without shipping). At that time the same bumper was on EBAY for $250 (with shipping included). They wouldn't refund my money in cash so I demanded that they ship me $89 worth of something from their company. We agreed on a Tenzo shifter **** and Ebrake handle. I then ripped up my contract and removed their stickers from my car!
I'm currently with carsponships.com...NO better there either. They get you sponsorships with low quality companies (in my opinion). They sponsor you with companies like blaupunkt. They don't sponsor you with companies like Alpine or Clarion....Use your $89 for better purposes.....

Not being facetious or sarcastic. I guess i dont know anything about audio. I always thought blaupunkt and klipshe were the best audio in the world.

Thanks guys for the post...I will keep my eye on this and let you know the out come. Me and the three friends that are sponsored will let yuou know if they try to screw with us. I already signed the contract so i am going to give it a shot. One of my friends has already been cut a check for $500 from them for his wheels and tires. SO far so good, but this kinda scares me aboutgetting my money back.....I will keep a close eye on things.
They told me that the 89 dollar fee was to pay people to process the orders and mail contracts, etc.

All I have to say about that is still be very careful what you order....dont go and get anything expecting them to pay you back or pay any percentage......if they do then good if they dont you were already prepared

Hey Jason,

Yeah, totally be wary of this gig. The advice right ^^ there is golden. Don't buy anything you can't afford without splitting the costs. At least not until you figure out their system and make it work for you.

Also, kudos to those who actually gave the detailed explanations of their experiences with this company. Info like that really helps us all.

Anyway, good luck to you Jason. Please keep us all informed over the course of this year. If things are still working out for you when we are all in Springfield then maybe you can show the IA crew the ins and outs!

-Alex
