I dont belive any aero kit will affect gas milage, unless it weighs 50lbs

i asked a couple days ago, they did not have a price because its so new, and the front and rear will only be offered on the 3.0series. Now either way the dealer is going to be far to expensive. Really all i want is the front anyway.

Correct bulletproof can get the kit, and i have talked to them. I was hopeing that since scion actually has the means of getting them(thinking as if a 3.0 series customer needed a replacement or somethin) i would not have to wait 2 to 3 months from japan. I believe that it is just a matter of finding whos who and a conection. A group buy in to scion(not saying that it is a good idea, just an idea) would bring $$. But now one is going to pay the dealer more than what bulletproof is offering to sell for, which is pretty good in my opinion. I guess i m looking at it from the point of who can get it faster and cheaper. Bulletproof might well be the best option

well, heres the deal with that lip kit.
The piece does not come from the factory and dealers generally cant get it unless its a crash replacement piece and etc. Im not saying we CANT get it, but you need to have the vin off a 3.0 if I understood my parts manager right. Some of you who already checked with the dealers who said they couldnt obtain it were probably just searching for an accessory add on piece, but its not readily available.
...Anyways, the piece is only installed at the port and if you were to get your hands on one it comes non painted (big surprise huh?) The price of the parts is ridiculous. If i remember correctly it was 400+ for just the front lip, (i dont care for the rear so did not check.) I can get them if anyones interested, but its almost cheaper to purchase the jdm piece from bulletproof.
