The hatch cover would not latch if I didn't, it made the tank sit too high. You might not find a tank like mine that will fit, I tried a few different ones and this was the only one I could get to fit well.
I did all the work myself, I need some ideas of some other things to do tho. Not really interested in a "system" But I was thinking about a ragtop for a long while, but not sure about the max size I can do.
Yeah, you can get any size you want. It just costs alot more. For the size I requested to be made through street beat customs was around 700$ ish shipped or plus 100$ for shipping. I can't remember, nor can I remember the size I measured out to have made. But, I don't want it made until I have someone who knows the right way to measure for size and frame. Because I will not spend 700-800$ and not know if It's going to fit once I get it.

Nice i was just gonna ask for a pic of your set up, on the rag top i like the look of it but it doesnt seem very safe when driving, when weir driving ill get next to my friends xb wit the rag top and its all puffed up like theres a lot of air goin into the car.
All my air ride stuff is under the carpeted area (the spare tire area) The MDF structure there is just all storage underneath. It has a hinge on the edge to lift up and open. I can also lay back there, so it makes a good place to lay down and relax if at a show or something.
looks like my back end of my car... hmmm identical before i finished it sweeeeet

it absolutely does its nuts... lol yea your wood pic looks like mine although i did the whole back cause i didn't think the "trunk" cover would be sturdy enough for the bike so it ended up all being wood... heavy though... if you dont need the back seat its amazing! what side skirts are those?
The stock trunk piece is sturdy enough for what I have setup, because where my air tank is underneath it. The stock piece is laying almost exactly on the airtank, so it holds it up firmly. Even if I have to sit something heavy there. My g/f has layed down back there on a trip once. So it holds the weight well with the airtank under it
I might re-do it. I need to find some carpet that matches the stock, unless I re-do the whole thing.
The sideskirts are K-1 which are for sale. I never did anything but mock it up. They fit perfectly also.
