Default My future killer ride!

Hi everyone!

I am in the market for a new Scion xA, preferably white. I am thinking about getting the FAB kit for the car. Will it fit the 06 model? If so, any company you recommend to get it from? Also, if anyone with this kit in white please post and let me see the result. I think it will look great. What the hell, if anyone with this kit please post and make me jealous!

thanks everyone!

Hmmm i'm not sure if the fab kit fits the '06 model. Did you want the authentic fabulous kit or a replica? There are quite a bit of companies that make the replica kit.

Im thinking to with a replica version. Any idea which company might have the better fitment and quality? What is the difference between the older model xA and the 06 one? I apologize for these questions.

The fab kit will fit since it's a full front and rear bumper replacement. As with which company to go to for a replica, they're pretty much all the same since they get it from the same manufacturer. Be warned that the fab kit is fiberglass and will require body work in order to get it fitting nicely. If you don't know how to do it yourself, be prepared to pay a pretty penny to have a professional do it for you.

You can contact some of the sponsers on here for the kit. I recommend either PMing C2AUTOSPL or bBist for the kit.

Most aftermarket kits need some modification to fit. Usually it's just shaving the edges for a cleaner fitment while some require modifying the body panels like cutting out the exhaust hole or drilling new screw points. With replicas, you won't get the same quality if you were to get the original. So even if you save a bit getting the replica, you still end up paying more for the install to get it looking good.

If you're on a budget and know connections to a body shop, then it may be a good choice to get a replica, but if you are really **** about your car and want the best possible look (like me =p) spend a bit more for an original.
