Yup it's vinyl...I went this way cause I didn't like the fitment of carbon hoods. Besides now, it's really difficult to tell if real or not. Once you put 5 coats of clear on it!

In pictures, sure. But not in real life.

I am not trying to be elitist because I have CF parts, just trying to state fact.

I am sure you spent tens to hundreds of dollars and god knows how many man hours on sticking stuff to your car, props for doing what you like.

Sure most CF doesn't fit 100% and most people add CF to cars for styling, but it is lighter. Not a crap load more but a measurable amount so. If you add any aftermarket bodywork to your car chances are it won't fit 100%, that is because it is aftermarket.

I'd like to stay and comment more but I've got to install the pink leds and spinner hubcaps on my car before I cruise the mall tonight.

Yeah your kind of showing off I think with all the pics. The OP was just showing off his work Many people have CF hoods. Not much Elite or all that great about them really

I have a "Real" CF hood and it's even "real" Red/Grey stitch. But it's just a hood. I think most of us are impressed with the quality of his work and the time he spent doing all this. No it does not shine like real CF but it looks great.
