Default Rear Signals not getting Power..

Need help with 2005 Scion xA.
My Rear Signals are not blinking or getting power. All fuses are good. Dash indicator works fine and front signals work in turning or hazard mode. Just the back turns are dead.
The flasher is flashing faster as if a bulb is out but all bulbs check out good. I cleaned the contacts for the socket in the rear lens and still nothing. All I can think of is a bad flasher relay?
I just got this car about a week ago and the signals were working fine.

Any suggestions would be appreciated before I pull my hair out.

Are you getting power to the actual contacts in the sockets? Bulbs may check out good but if they're not getting power it won't matter.

If I had to guess, and you're able to rule everything else out, I'd say you've got either a grounding issue or a broken/chafing wire somewhere that's causing your problem.

Default Not double filament bulbs.

Guys the Scion XA has a separate bulb for the rear signal. It is not a double filament like the old school 1157. I tested the friction contacts in the lens with an old pc fan to see if it got power when blinking and it did for a moment then stopped. Now the contacts do not get power. All I can think of is the load difference screwed with the flasher. Im replacing the flasher later today so hopefully a bad flasher is the problem. If not then I may be on a witch hunt tracking down the harness wires.

No problem. I should have clarified the bulb type. This set up is indeed wierd. For the life of my I dont know why they would make it this way.
I picked this car up two weeks ago to use for uber eats and plan and going through it with eventually an engine build. She has 150k atm and runs strong so I figure I have a while to get everything in order.
