Default Restoring headlights/New ones

I'm debating on getting new stock headlights for my '05 xA cause the ones I have are cloudy and ugly. I've already done all the DIY kits and they never last more than a month.

Does anybody know if getting them "restored" at a dealership ($90) is worth it? Or do I just spend the extra $100+ and get new ones? Anyone been to a dealer to get this done to their head lights before?

Thanks!

- Alex

if you do new ones do not get the aftermarket depo headlights they have hot spots galore... if you can find some OEM headlight housings! you'll be a happier person if you do

Thanks for the advice jct. and thanks for all the other posts you do, I've noticed you imput a ton.
By the way I found a Mazda dealership by my place that does headlight restoration for $90 with a life time warranty (Toyota/Scion dealership only had 2 yr warranty.) I'll post before and after pictures when I can so people know if doing the dealership route is worth it.

replacing my stock drivers side w OEM headlight housing on 06xB...any advice in removing the old clouded one?..from the looks of it the drvers side fender has to come off or from what I gather the front bumper has to come off or reach through the fog lamp area..silly question but can't the lens be replaced? I see the clips but it acts like a sealed unit...there's got to be an easier softer way eh...TIA
